What to expect while you’re healing
Lip Blush and Lip Neutralization
Day 1-5:
Lips are swollen. Feel very dry and tight
Day 5-10:
Lips will feel really chapped
Day 10-15:
Lips will lighten up quite a bit
Day 15-30:
Healed (lighter) colour comes back and no longer dry or chapped
Aftercare Instructions
Day of Appointment:
Use provided cotton pads to wipe lips every 90 minutes after your appointment until bedtime. Follow with balm.
Day 2-5:
Daytime - Moisturize lips with balm throughout the day. Rinse your lips with water after any eating or drinking.
Evening - With clean hands, use mild soap to gently cleanse the area. Rinse and pat dry with cotton pad. Follow with thin layer of balm.
After Day 5:
Continue to keep the lips moisturized and hydrated as much as possible.
Do NOT pick or force off any dry skin on the lips while healing.
What to Avoid
Heat, Sweating and Sun
Do not workout or come into contact with excessive steam or heat for at least 48 hours after the procedure. Keep your showers cool during healing.
Certain Foods
Do not consume spicy or salty foods. Drink from a straw instead of sipping from a cup whenever possible.
Makeup
Do not apply lipstick, gloss or any makeup on your lips for 10 days after the procedure.
Skincare Products
Do not use any anti-aging creams, chemical peels, acids or retinals on or close to your lips.
Smoking
Avoid smoking anything during your healing period.
