How to prepare for your appointment

Powder Brows


2 weeks before

Avoid tanning and tanning beds, skin that has experienced excessive sun exposure is in a state of recovery and therefore cannot be tattooed!

Stop applying retinoids in the area to be tattooed, as it temporarily thins the skin.

Stop tweezing/waxing your brows. We will need to see your natural hair growth and waxing can result in the skin being too sensitive for any semi permanent tattoo work.

Avoid forehead botox two weeks before & after brow tattoo appointment

1 week before

Stop taking fish oils or omega supplements, vitamin C, magnesium supplements or any other supplements that can thin the blood

24 hours before

Do not consume any alcohol 24 hours before the appointment

Do not consume any caffeine 24 hours before the appointment. This includes coffee, tea, chocolate, coca-cola, and even ‘decaf’ coffee.

Avoid anti-inflammatories or any other medication that thins the blood, this is including but not limited to Aspirin, Advil or Ibuprofen (Tylenol is okay!)
